Hello friends! I hope you all are having a safe, healthy, and blessed Easter! While the world might be feeling chaotic right now there is always hope. I am comforted that God is still in control and has power over even death itself.
I would like to share with you a poem from my upcoming book “Poems for the Redeemed Heart.” Easter has always been my favorite holiday! I believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again for all who trust in him. If Jesus didn’t rise again, then the faith I have would mean nothing. But I am certain that he did! Jesus offers you forgiveness and change, no matter what you have said, thought, or done. And, I believe, he is the only hope for eternal life.
So, I do hope you enjoy this poem. But even more I hope you consider who Jesus is and the hope he has for you!
TOMB OPENED We had no hope of freedom, We had no hope of peace, Until the stone was rolled away, Now hope will never cease. For from that tomb came righteousness, For from it came out life. And from his mercy pure and good Emerged such wondrous light. If he would have stayed there, Dead forever more, Never would we have this hope That is so true and sure. People search for answers, But they don’t look to him, But we will look to Christ our lord And fully trust in him.
If you need more convincing that Jesus rose from the dead, I recommend watching this video a friend of mine made for Easter! I hope it blesses you as much as it blessed me.
Happy Easter everyone! He is Risen!
